Pan fried Saffron Chicken Breast with Rice Pilaf & Flat Bread
Chicken breast in a rich, glossy saffron sauce, served with two-tone saffron and basmati rice pilaf and warm flatbread. A fragrant, Persian-inspired plate.
How to heat
- Heat the chicken and rice pouches through in boiling water, then rest for 1 minute.
- Warm the flatbread in the toaster (out of the bag) or poach it in the bag.
- Plate the rice and spoon over the saffron chicken.

I recently tried the Pan-Fried Saffron Chicken Breast with Rice Pilaf & Flatbread from Tremblays, and it was absolutely outstanding.
The chicken breast was cooked to perfection—beautifully golden on the outside and incredibly juicy on the inside. The saffron flavour was subtle yet distinctive, adding a delicate aromatic richness that elevated the whole dish without overpowering it.
The rice pilaf was light, fluffy, and full of flavour, with just the right balance of seasoning to complement the chicken. And the flatbread was soft and fresh—perfect for pairing with every element on the plate and soaking up those wonderful saffron-infused juices.
The entire experience was flawless. Ordering was smooth and hassle-free, and delivery was spot-on—quick, reliable, and everything arrived in excellent condition.
